  Phil Selby
Bob Marsden : Senior Pastor

Phil Selby : Curate

Our senior pastor has been with us since 1999. After finishing at University, keen cricketer Marsden hung up his pads and became a history teacher. Following training at Oak Hill and ordination, he was curate at St. Nicks, Sevenoaks and chaplain at Fettes School, Edinburgh, before joining us at Trinity.
Bob is married to Julia, his childhood sweetheart, and they have two sons, Johny and Ben.
When not preaching at the front you'll still find Bob reliving the glory days, at the crease for the local cricket club.
Derbyshire born and bred Phil joined our team in 2015 after completing his time at Oak Hill. Before going into the ministry Phil plied his trade as a primary school teacher in Derby.
He is married to Ruth, whom he met whilst doing overseas work in Africa, and they have three young children, Esther, Joel, and Lydia.
When not working, Phil passionately supports his boyhood club, the mighty Derby County.

Matt overseas our Trinity Youth programme (Pathfinders / Impact (ages 11-14) and Ignite (ages 14-18).

Matt enjoys coffee and buying the garish clothes in Jack Wills that no one else wants.

Our 'go to' for all things admin, Kate has been in the role since 2012, but did spend time here as a ministry trainee from 2008 to 2010. Alongside her role as administrator, Kate also helps with Ignite.
Kate has been married to Mike since 2013. Outside of work Kate enjoys cycling, cake, Earl Grey tea, and has a passionate love of Daschunds.
Ed Mackenzie   Nigel Reid
Ed Mackenzie : Church Warden   Nigel Reid : Church Warden
Proud Kiwi Ed has been our warden since 2016.
Ed has a PhD in New Testament Studies and works as a Discipleship Development Officer for the Methodist Church in Britain, based a few miles away at Cliff College. He is married to Ali, and they have two boys, Archie and Toby.
Away from Trinity, Ed can be found carving up the tarmac on his custom designed micro scooter.
Nigel joined us as Church Warden in June 2017.

Nigel, a confirmed southerner, headed to Chapel-en-le-Frith from Portsmouth in 2015 with his wife, Helen, and parents, David and Joyce, after his four daughters all migrated to the North after they left university.

From his teenage years to present, Nigel and Helen have moved several times, but he has always played the piano or organ at what ever church he was part of.

He has worked in the IT industry for more than 40 years and enjoys for relaxation performing major DIY projects on his long suffering house and family as well as trying to fix all the leaky bits of our church building!

He has an excellent clothes filing system (piled high!) and has been referred to as ‘The Mad Professor’ by his wife!
